TIPS:
- Wash ganglines occasionally
with mild soap solution& dry.
- Store away from exposure
to sun & rain.
- Use old brass clips for
necklines.
- Avoid abrasion points
on sled rigging.
- Avoid knots, strength
can be reduced by up to 50%.
- Inspect cable for rusting,
fraying or slippage every season.
- Replace every 1-3 years
depending on use and storage.
- Train dogs not to chew
on lines.
- Inspect ropes/watch for:
- Cuts, abrasions or
fused surface yarns.
- Kinks
- Severe filament or
fiber breakage.
- Brittleness, discoloration
or roughness.
