Trails groomed Sunday morning - Junior, 2 mile through 8 mile with extra mile. The alternate side and inlet trail are groomed and excellent for distance teams.
Our tireless groomer is at it again... repairing our machines, keeping our trails in fabulous shape. Today she groomed the 2-10 mile trails, including the extra mile and Beach Lake, "to perfection." We are incredibly lucky to have Kris Rasey on our team.
Staging area packed. Plow/packed Beach Lake, Junior trail, 2, 3-14 mile. Lots of moose out there.
-KR All trails packed and plowed (including the inlet) except the 12-mile, 14-mile and the lakes.
Be sure to thank Kris Rasey for all the time spent grooming our trails and maintaining our equipment.
3" of new snow on trails, planning to groom tonight.
-KR Pouring rain at Beach Lake Park - please stay off the trails to protect our base.
The 8-mile loop on the north side trail system will be closed, starting at noon February 2nd, to allow grooming for the Eagle River Classic. The event will conclude by 3:30 pm on Feb. 4th and the entire trail system will open up. Please use only the south side trails during this time. They have been groomed.
Please use mats, not your brakes, to control the speed of your team. Brakes tear up the trails after all the hours the groomers put in to make them runnable. Thank you. -Val Jokela, CDMA President |
