For First Time Racers only (Juniors and Seniors)

Beach Lake Sled Dog Trails: 2-mile loop (one-dog class uses 1/4 mile kid's loop)
Sign up:   online
Race Start:  10:30 am
Entry Fee:  Seniors:  $10.00 / Juniors:  Free with membership

Juniors ages 4-7: 1-dog (1/4 mile kid's loop)  
Juniors ages 8-9: ​2-dog (2 mile)
Seniors and Juniors aged 10+: 3-dog (2 mile)

​Entry Requirements  
  • Must be a member of Chugiak Dog Mushers Association
  • Must not have competed in any sled dog race prior to this event (dryland events do not count)
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers!​
Wooden Sled Classic ​

Race Start:  11:00 am or 10 minutes after the final Cheechako Racer finishes

  • WOODEN SLEDS ONLY!!  (Brakes, snowhook, and sled bag required)

HEALTH ADVISORY

Help keep our trails and facilities free of contagious diseases for dogs and humans
  • Do not train or race on CDMA trails if you or your dogs are sick
  • Always clean up after your dogs in the staging area.
We are happy to refund your entry fee if you or your dogs are sick on race day.
