Chugiak Dog Mushers Association offers a wide range of events for sled dog enthusiasts.  The season begins with our Dryland Program featuring bikejor, scooter, rig, and canicross events.  After the snow falls, we host fun runs as well as competitive races for sprint, distance, junior and purebred teams.  We invite beginners and sponsors to jump on the runners at our Cheechako and Friends of CDMA events.

Help keep our trails and facilities free of contagious diseases for dogs and humans.
  • Do not train or race on CDMA trails if you or your dogs are sick
  • Always clean up after your dogs in the staging area.
We are happy to refund your entry fee if you or your dogs are sick on race day.
