Thanks to our very dedicated trail crew, we have a great base throughout the 16+ miles of trail at Beach Lake. On Saturday, KR was out plowing the main trail, Clunie & Beach Lake, and on Sunday she plowed the main trail through to the 6 mile turn, and packed the entire alternate trail system!
Trails out of North Parking Lot groomed through 12-mile with Clunie Lake and Beach Lake extensions.
The groomed trails are smooth and fast from the main parking lot with extensions around Clunie and Beach Lakes. The alternate side is packed and great for non-sprint teams. Enjoy!
Trails groomed and cleared of debris to the 6-mile turn. Beware of fallen trees, branches, and lumps of snow beyond the 6-mile turn. Alternate side and Inlet Loop trails have been packed with snowmobile.
Many thanks to Kris Rasey for working past midnight to keep the trails open and safe. Please stay off the trails until they refreeze! Thank you.
12-mile, Clunie & Beach Lakes are plowed and ok for training as of 3:00 pm on Saturday. Trails are groomed through the 12-mile plus Clunie Lake and Beach Lake. Alternate side is snowmachine packed. Please thank your groomers, Kris and Kourosh.
Chugiak Trails are groomed through the 12-mile and all of the turns are snowmachine-packed. Enjoy! Hi Members,
Our trail groomers need your help brushing at the 10 mile inbound and the trails going down and coming off of Beach Lake, this week. We are preparing for the Clunie Lake Night Race on January 14 and the Eagle River Classic Feb 4-5. Please carry a saw, chain saw or nippers and take a few minutes to cut out some alder. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Val |
